Our Story 

In the Fall of 2021, a very special friend sent me a candle similar to the one offered here.  It had a beautiful scent and a personalized message to me.  The candle was a small token but the personal nature of it stayed with me well beyond the 50 hours that I burned it.  In fact, it still sits on my desk and continually reminds me of my friend and the power of generosity and good people.  I decided I had to “make a recipe” for candles and launch my own candle business to help people find the perfect gift for their special people.

The other question I get asked a lot is why the name Old Brick?  The Old Brick (circa 1810) is my family home where my brothers and sisters were raised from 1969 to today.  My Dad was an engineer but one of his “side hustles” was handmade crafts.  Thankfully, my Mom was happy for me to use Old Brick Candle Co. for the business name.
